A recent survey carried out by the BPCA reported that areas in London came top for having the worst pest infestation problems in the UK.

The London Borough of Tower Hamlets came top in three pest categories in the UK with the worst pest infestations of mice, cockroaches and bed bugs reported.

What City came top in the USA?
Chicago was reported to be the worst city in the USA for the infestation of bed bugs, leading to the local city council passing an ordinance to ensure all condos located in the area had a pest control plan in place for the detection and extermination of bed bugs. California came a close second, followed by Ohio and Detroit.

Expert pest controller Ron Harrison said:
‘Pest Infestations are a serious issue across the country, and they’re very difficult to control, for example, bed bugs are not limited to any level of cleanliness or income, which means they can be found in any home or hotel’
